The Mystery of the Lizzie Throop,” a lecture by Craig Rich, shipwrecks historian and author. The Lizzie Throop was a schooner which carried goods on the Great Lakes. It sank on Lake Michigan in a gale in 1873. The wrecked hull was discovered in 2016.

Biography of Craig Rich
Craig Rich is a 45-year veteran Great Lakes master SCUBA diver, historian, and author. He has written For Those in Peril: Shipwrecks of Ottawa County, Michigan and Through Surf and Storm: Shipwrecks of Muskegon county, Michigan. Craig’s research on local shipwrecks began in the 1980s, and formed the basis for the Michigan Shipwreck Research Association’s web page as it exists today. He continues to serve as the website designer.
